The law related with Guardianship is the Guardian and Wards Act 1890 in Pakistan. However, the courts having jurisdiction to entertain guardian cases are the Guardian Courts. The primary responsibility of these guardian courts is to look after the welfare of minor. Hence the guardian courts are guardians of minors and the responsibility of deciding the welfare of minor rests on the shoulders of guardian courts.
