Right to Information is an International Concept gaining lots of progress in Pakistan with the efforts of
many Civil Society Organizations and Law Firms. It was included in the Constitution of Islamic
Republic of Pakistan in the year 2010 through the 18th Amendment in Article 19-A in the following words.

2013 has been a remarkable year for some great developments in the RTI legislation regime in Pakistan. In the provinces of Punjab and KPK new RTI laws have been enacted recently.
