Finance Specialist Required on Urgent Bases

My client is a top Int'l law firm, with a terrific Financial Systems Group, who is looking for a Financial Systems Specialist with strong Elite experience.
Technology Skills Needed for the role
• Elite Enterprise (3.7 or later). 5+ years.
• Elite backend knowledge (Tables). Very important!
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Elite UDF’s, precost system, Elite VBA etc.
• Ability to modify LEEDS templates (4GL ebilling templates).
• Whitehill template design experience.
• Elite tier 2-3 support experience.
• Project management or Business analyst (documentation) experience.

Daily Responsibilities

1. Develop, test and maintain application programs, including the creation and modification of existing code.
2. In coordination with the FS Manager, performs as a project manager when assigned, including defining project tasks, assigning responsibilities, developing a project schedules, identifying necessary resources, implementing appropriate reporting processes, tracking progress, quality controlling results and evaluating success.
3. Provides periodic reports to the FS Manager and CIO on the status of IT projects involving Financial Systems
4. Oversees the interaction between systems to take advantage of new and more effective ways of providing needed information and/or improving performance.
5. Develop appropriate documentation including functional specifications, technical designs and technical support.
6. Maintain technical knowledge and skills as they relate to the firm’s technologies including firm security, controls, backup and disaster recovery information.
7. Assists with oversight for application patches and upgrades
8. Assist with the software selection process for new modules or products that will integrate with or replace existing financial applications
9. As assigned, coordinates with vendors related to system enhancements, configurations, customizations, upgrades, and patches
10. Assist with resolution of system support incidents (including Financial Systems Help Desk tickets), follow up with requestors to continually update them on status, and oversee the resolution of incidents
